The new Affiliate council Chair Juané Voges from South Africa and Affiliate council Representative Azhar Abu-Ali from Dubai thank all those WAIMH Affiliate members, who participated in the recent WAIMH Congress Affiliate meeting, in person in Dublin and online. From the discussion at the Affiliate meeting, it was clear that WAIMH Affiliates were interested in learning more about each other. Therefore, more opportunities for regular contact sessions between Affiliate members will be provided by regular online meetings.
Part of the Affiliate Council mandate is to strengthen the connection and channels of communication between WAIMH and the Affiliates and their members. They have today contacted the Affiliates via email. They are interested in learning more about each of the individual WAIMH Affiliate groups and how they operate in a brief survey.
Finally, Juané Voges and Azhar Abu-Ali extend their gratitude for the global commitment of all Affiliates to WAIMH and Infant Mental Health, as they share your dedication and passion in solidifying infant mental health around the world.
